Quaker Tapestry – Have you seen Pickles?

Pickles Hedgehog is the latest addition to the Quaker Tapestry Embroidery kits and cards. Pickles Hedgehog uses Appletons Wool and is a beautifully embroidered original design by Bridget Guest, inspired by the Quaker Tapestry stitches and technique. The kit contains 22 pages of easy to follow guidelines, thread, colour guide, photographs and ‘top tips’ from Bridget, the designer.

Pickles has also been made into a greetings card and along with the kit is being sold online at Quaker Tapestry website: and the gift shop to help raise funds for the Quaker Tapestry Museum. As a registered charity, as well as a visitor attraction, Quaker Tapestry use money raised to continue their work- Preserving the community embroidery and sharing the stories and stitches for all to enjoy.
