We are receiving more and more regular wool orders – we are struggling to get it all put away! But it’s very exciting to see all the shades filling up.
I’ve been looking up pictures of some of the tapestries in which our wool is being used – they are truly amazing. Have a look at our ‘Appletons Wool in Action’ button.
Marcus has joined us and is in charge of converting hanks into skeins – at last!! He says he feels like Rumpelstiltskin, but we still aren’t letting him out of his cave until he has finished the 900 skein boxes that need filling.
Debbie and Caroline have joined us in Long Crendon and are having huge amounts of fun learning the best way to twist hanks of wool.
Appletons has moved to Long Crendon from London – Di and Julia have moved about 1000 sacks of wool and even introduced computers. This is the beginning of an adventure!
