Born from a love of storytelling and the meditative magic of sewing, The Fabled Thread empowers everyone, from curious beginners to seasoned stitchers, to find joy in making. What started in founder Eppie Thompson’s bedroom with just three kits has grown into a vibrant Islington-based studio offering over 100 needlepoint and embroidery kits, hand-painted frames, workshops, and more. With a focus on creativity, colour, and craftsmanship, everything is made in-house and designed to help you slow down, stitch boldly, and create something truly special.
